Degrees to radians
Trigonometry in calculus is written in radians: d/dx sin x = cos x is only true that way. This converts a degree measure and shows the exact multiple of π when the angle is a clean one.
How the result is checked
After converting, the tool evaluates the original and the converted expression at 12 random angles. It only prints a conversion that agrees at every one of them — a transformation that fails that check is dropped rather than shown.
- Multiply by π/180. 210° = 210π/180 = 7π/6.
- A clean fraction of π exists when the degree measure divides evenly — 7° does not.
